Speaking to Silkmen TV after completing his switch to Cheshire, Miles explained: “I’m delighted to sign. I had a good season with Bath but my aim was to get back into the League so it is really good to have achieved that. Every kid wants to be playing in the EFL but now I want to kick on again.
“Macclesfield are a big Football Club and I can’t wait to meet all the boys and get going. It’s going to be a big challenge but I am really looking forward to it.”
21-year-old Miles, who can operate in either full-back position is now hoping he can impress the Silkmen fans.
“I’m an attacking full-back who likes to get forward. Obviously the main objective as a full-back is to defend but I like to get forward and try to get assists and goals.
“I just can’t wait to get going now.”
