Man found with a serious head injury

Police are appealing for information after a 64-year-old man who had sustained serious head injuries was discovered on Hillside Court on Monday 11th June at 11.23pm.

The man, currently unnamed, was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

Macclesfield police are trying to establish whether the victim suffered his injuries as a result of an accident or an assault.

Detective Sergeant Angela Coppock said: “We have spoken to lots of people in the area who have been very helpful but we still need people to come forward with information so we can determine how this man has received these injuries.
