The rose garden at Dunham Massey is benefiting from the current warmer weather and the roses in particular are putting on a great display.

The ‘Rosa Stamford’s Sanctuary’ was named after the Stamford Military Hospital – opened at Dunham Massey in April 1917 to care for British soldiers badly injured in the First World War.
The rose won gold at RHS Chelsea in 2015 and Dunham’s gardening team are delighted with how it’s blooming this year– a fitting tribute to the 2018 centenary of the end of the First World War.
