In celebration of the 150th anniversary of its publication, Chaperhouse Theatre Company brings an exciting adaptation of Little Women to the stage.
Follow the life stories of the four March sisters – Jo, Beth, Meg and Amy set during the Civil War in America. Based on the novel by Louisa Alcott, the book has gained fans throughout every generation. Retold in this adaption by Laura Turner, she has breathed new life into this unforgettable tale.
The sisters’ journey from childhood to womanhood is full of romance, love, passion and friendship. This story is where hope will always outdo heartache and hardship if you just have the courage to follow your dreams. Little Women is brought to life by Chapterhouse featuring glorious period costume, traditional live music and a story of self-discovery to warm your heart.
Chapterhouse Theatre Company is now in its 19th year of touring the UK and has established itself as one of the most successful and critically acclaimed touring companies in the country. Travelling with adaptations of literature’s most celebrated writers, including William Shakespeare, Arthur Conan Doyle, Jane Austen and works by the Brontë sisters.
