Adlington’s successful exports business, Proseal, has won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the category of International Trade. The award was presented by the Lord Lieutenant of Cheshire, Sir David Briggs KBE, and was bestowed in recognition of Proseal’s continuous growth over the last six years.
The company celebrated the impressive achievement at the recent presentation ceremony. The award is all the more special as it comes in the company’s 20th anniversary year.
The company – which manufactures automatic tray sealing machines, conveyor systems, and sealing tools for the food industry and other applications – now employs 300 people in its UK operations, and 400 worldwide. It also now has a presence in every continent except for Antarctica.
