Gawsworth photo competition

Gawsworth Arts and Social Society (GASS)  is running a photo competition with the theme Gawsworth Life.

Entries depicting life in Gawsworth – the church, the hall, the village, etc – are being sought from budding snappers.

Everyday snaps on smart phones are fine – and everyone is encouraged to submit as many entries as possible depicting Gawsworth Life.

There’ll be a special  trophy for under 12s as well as the main competition – with both trophies being displayed in the village shop.

An exhibition of the entries is currently being planned for 17^th November – with the hope that winning entries may be used to and produce a Gawsworth calendar for 2019.

Closing date for entries is October 19^th.
