Hotel robbery in Handforth

Police have released CCTV images of three men they would like to speak to following an armed robbery at a hotel in Handforth.

At around 3.30 am, on 20th August, the Hallmark Hotel in Stanley Road was targeted by three men, thought to be in their twenties, all wearing dark tracksuits, each armed with a hammer and knife.

Having made a search of the till and office area they demanded keys to a safe from the night porter, who refused. The offenders then fled with cash.

DC Alison Shields said: “We have been making a number of enquiries to find those responsible. If you recognise the men in the CCTV images or had seen suspicious activity please contact me.”
