Cheshire Constabulary has been ranked 13th in The Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers List for 2018/19. The Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers List recognises the efforts of organisations attracting and retaining a diverse workforce, to achieve equality, diversity and inclusion.
The list was compiled by a panel of judges, who made the selection using evidence from a combination of topics, including recruitment procedures, training and a host of diversity related initiatives.
The results were announced at the Inclusive Companies Awards in Manchester on 15 November 2018.
Acting Chief Constable Janette McCormick said: “We are really proud to be named in the Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers list for another year. This is an exceptional achievement which showcases to members of our communities how committed we are to increasing diversity in force. This is great recognition for the Constabulary and I am extremely pleased that our commitment to attracting and retaining a truly diverse and inclusive workforce has been recognised nationally.”
