Construction work is underway on the new addition to Pott Shrigley Church School – a wooden-based adventure play area where pupils can perfect their balance and improve their climbing skills in a fun and dedicated safe area.
The groundworks for the project have been funded by a grant from the Chester Diocese with sports premium funding utilized to purchase the play equipment, the total project costing £72,000.
Headteacher Ms Bromley commented ‘We’re so excited that the new play area is imminent – it will provide a real area of interest and self-entertainment for the children in all weathers. The children are intrigued by the building works and can’t wait to get climbing!’
