It’s Brass!

Silk Brass and Macclesfield Youth Brass band are holding a spectacular concert on Saturday 9th March at St Michaels Church, Market Place Macclesfield from 19.30.

The concert promises to deliver an entertaining evening of uplifting brass music. 

Macclesfield’s finest brass band, Silk Brass will join forces with the town’s prize winning local youth band MYBB, following their recent success in gaining 3rd place in the National Youth Band Festival. 

In the first half each band will show off their talents individually but in the second half it will be a combined, ‘big band’ style set featuring numbers from the swing and big band era including Fly Me to The Moon, Cry Me A River and Sing Sing Sing. This will be a concert that’s sure to get your feet tapping.
