East Cheshire Hospice Challenge to Nepal

Are you ready to be part of the East Cheshire Hospice overseas trekking team this year? You could be joining the team taking part in this life changing experience trekking through the Nepal Himalayas, and if that wasn’t enough, you get to spend two whole days helping another non profit hospice care organisation in Kathmandu! It will be an incredible opportunity to be a part of and a chance to raise vital funds for East Cheshire Hospice – do you think we can beat the £52,000 we raised last year? 

Last year twelve people took on our first ever overseas trek to the Grand Canyon. Challenge co-ordinator Beth said: “it was the most amazing thing I’ve ever done and I’m keen to take on the next challenge. Together we raise an incredible £52,000 which exceeded our target by £10,000!!!! It was such a wonderful achievement to be able to raise so much money to this wonderful charity. “

 The 5-day trek is a great opportunity to witness the culture and tradition in the Nepalese countryside. As we follow the Ghorepani Poon Hill trail you will enjoy the views of the snowy peaks of the Annapurna massif and a highlight will be the awe-inspiring panoramic views which unfold from Poon Hill at sunrise, the highest altitude points of the Trek at 3400m.
