Hiyo Silver away!

Having seen the encampment set up in Mill Street then spotted the truck I’ve concluded the Lone Ranger must be in town.

He rode a horse when I was a lad – but I guess that’s progress for you. Maybe riding the range of Macclesfield town centre didn’t warrant a horse.

Wonder if he still wears a mask and fires silver bullets?

If you see him say hello – if memory serves me right he’s called Kemosabe.

He may be accompanied by a red indian (maybe that should now be native American) . . . if you spot him his name’s Tonto.
