For the fourth time this season Macclesfield Town players are still awaiting payment of their April wages.
The team are fighting to remain in the Football League as they bid to stave off relegation back down to the National League.
Supporters recently voiced their displeasure, with a demonstration against the club’s owners regarding poor communication and its mismanagement, which has seen staff and players not paid on time.
The Silkmen are currently two points above the drop zone, but can secure their EFL status for next season in their final match against Cambridge United at the Moss Rose on Saturday.
