A 42-year-old Stockport man has been charged after potentially lethal drugs were stolen from Macclesfield District General Hospital.
Stephen Hague was arrested at his home in Habour Farm Road, Hyde, near Stockport, at around 5.40pm yesterday, Friday 16 August and was subsequently charged with burglary.
Hague has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Stockport Magistrates’ Court on Monday 19 August. The charge relates to an incident at Macclesfield District General Hospital around 8.30 pm on Tuesday 13 August when controlled drugs were stolen from a theatre area.
