Own a piece of Gathering for £30 and support East Cheshire Hospice this Christmas
International artist Susie MacMurray has created an extraordinary artwork, ‘Gathering’, in part inspired by the work of the Hospice, to help raise vital funds for our patients. Gathering is made up of thousands of ‘elements’, each hand stitched with no two the same – one of these unique elements would make a wonderful Christmas gift.
Drawing on her own experiences of loss, “Some of the most poignant and weirdly happy and cherished memories, happen at that terrible time. Some of my best memories of my husband stem from when he was ill”, Susie created Gathering to reflect how the Hospice gathers people into its fold, supporting the community when they need it most.
Having been on display in The Mansion at Tatton Park over the last three months, you can now own a piece of Gathering. With Christmas well on its way why not gift a piece to your family and friends and support East Cheshire Hospice this Christmas.
Christmas is a really important time here at the Hospice; our nurses and volunteers aim to create an atmosphere of joy and comfort on the ward, helping patients and their families build lasting memories and cherish this special time together.
