Attempted robbery in Knutsford

Cheshire Police are appealing for witnesses following an attempted robbery in Knutsford.

At around 3.45 pm on 7 July a 15-year-old boy was walking along an alleyway off Stanley Road, Knutsford, when he was approached by another teenager who punched him and attempted to take his rucksack. The victim managed to run off to safety.

The suspect is described as being around 6 feet tall, 17 years of age, straw coloured hair with a fringe down to his eyebrows and a short patchy beard.

He was wearing a silver chain around his neck and wore a light grey hoodie and a black, puffer gilet over the top with light grey or dirty white joggers.
