“Everyone knows that I have blue blood running through my veins and I have always been deeply honoured to represent my Club in a formal capacity.
“From my days as a commissionaire, to those as a steward where I progressed through the ranks and then more recently into the roles of Stadium Manager and Deputy Safety Officer – I have loved every minute, I really have.
“Not only that, but my commitment to the Club has, and never will waver. By stepping aside as Deputy Safety Officer, it will not only allow the Club to bring in new blood, but it will also allow me to focus my energies on all aspects of the Stadium Manager role.
“Together with Safety Officer John Moorhouse, I will give my absolute support to the new Deputy and look forward to working with them both going forward.”
Media Manager Bob Trafford commented –
