Teens charged with criminal damage

Two 18-year-old men from Macclesfield have been charged with causing criminal damage in the town.

The charges relate to an incident in High Street, Macclesfield, on Sunday 12 July.

Donnelly was also charged with a second count of criminal damage in connection with a separate incident at the same address on Friday, 26 June.

Windows were broken in both incidents.

Jake Donnelly, of Chester Road, and Malakai Malloch, of Byron Street, were arrested in Byron Street on Monday 13 July and subsequently charged with criminal damage.

Donnelly was also charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

Donnelly and Malloch, who have both been released on conditional bail, are set to appear at Stockport Magistrates’ Court on Monday 7 September.
