Appeal for witnesses to fatal collision

Cheshire Police are appealing for information following a fatal collision in Kendal Road, Macclesfield at around 4.30 am on Saturday 18 July.

Police officers found a blue Ford Focus which had collided with a tree. The driver of the Focus, a 57-year-old man from Macclesfield, was taken to hospital where a short time later he passed away.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to the collision or who may have any dashcam footage of the vehicle before the incident who are urged to call 101 quoting IML 757489 or report it via https://www.cheshire.police.uk/ro/report/
