Capethorne Hall has teamed up with Plant Hunters’ Fairs to put on a wonderful specialist plant fair on Sunday 16th August.
Over the spring and summer plant fairs have been put on hold but with the opening up of outdoor spaces this brand-new fair is going ahead as planned.
The fair will be held on the wide grassy approach to the hall giving plenty of space between each stall to allow customers to browse whilst still keeping up social distancing. All the stalls are outdoors in the open air.
The Capesthorne acres, which surround the Hall with tranquil gardens, woodland, parkland, and lakes, provide a wide-open environment to enjoy.
Plant Hunters’ Fairs are renowned for the quality of the small specialist nurseries that attend their fairs and there will be thousands of top quality plants and garden accessories on sale at the event with something for every garden and gardener.
The £3.50 ticket price includes entry to the fair, gardens and parkland – this is brilliant value at half the standard garden entry price.
Visitors should purchase their tickets in advance and there is a selection of hourly arrival times to ensure there are no “rush hour” crowds beginning at 10am. The garden closes at 5pm. A Limited number of tickets are available from www.capesthorne.com/event/plant-hunters-fair/
Dogs on short leads are welcome and the Lakeside Cafe is open serving light refreshments from 10:00am until 4:30pm. For full details of nurseries attending please see www.planthuntersfairs.co.uk
