Macclesfield Community Artspace will be re opening week beginning 14 th September for regular sessions and to welcome both old and new friends into the group’s creative space.
It won’t quite be as before lockdown – as sessions need to be pre booked to make sure everyone is Covid safe.
To enquire or book contact Artspace on 01625 440694 and leave a message.
The group’s working volunteers have cleared the space to enable socially distanced sessions to take place on reopening. Materials and storage areas have been reorganised to ensure it’s easier to sanitise the equipment.
Two separate spaces are available for groups who can form a ‘bubble.’ Areas where social distancing would be difficult have been temporarily closed off – only book one space out at a time to keep everyone safe.
A donation of £3 per head, to include a tea or coffee, is requested to attend a session.
Carers will still be free. There’s a small tuck shop selling drinks and wrapped snacks but for the time being the kitchen won’t be in general use.
Artspace is looking to welcome back old friends but are keen to welcome new groups to use their amazing space. If you would like to go with a group of your own then please ring the Artspace number – and we they’ll see how the numbers fit. Visits can be arranged.
Artspace is also actively looking for more volunteers to work with the team to keep the space open for more groups to attend. If you could spare a couple of hours per week and are happy to help others to be creative, then please get in touch either by phone or email on macccomartspace@mail.com.
If you would like to come in for a visit before we reopen then please call Janet on 07450616221
