Macclesfield MP, David Rutley’s, Parliamentary Christmas Card for 2020 celebrates the work of East Cheshire Hospice’s dedicated volunteers.
The card features fun festive figures in an intricate handicraft design made by volunteers at the Hospice. David was keen to highlight the invaluable work of East Cheshire Hospice during a year when it has continued to support many local families despite the challenges of the pandemic – hoping that the card will encourage people to donate to the Hospice – aiding fundraising for the vital work it does for the community by providing the very best end-of-life care.
The East Cheshire Hospice Christmas Tree Collection, running on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th January 2021, is designed to help people dispose of their trees in an environmentally sustainable way. As a part of the highly popular service, people are asked to make a voluntary donation to the Hospice. Details can be found here.
David sends a Parliamentary Christmas Card across Macclesfield, including local residents, civic and community leaders, schools, volunteer and community groups.
Established in 1988 East Cheshire Hospice has cared for thousands of local people with life-limiting illnesses and their families in our communities. and David, who is a Vice-President of the Hospice, is a longstanding supporter of its exceptional work.
