If, like us, you’ve been missing your regular theatre fix at Buxton Opera House, their new mini brochure could just be thing you’re looking for.
A shortened version of the usual – but one to give you a taster of the long-awaited programme.
One of the most eagerly awaited events is Buxton Opera House and Buxton International Festival’s (BIF) first ever co production of A Little Night Music (8 – 24 July), which will officially lift the curtain on 8 July.
This Sondheim favourite is the perfect musical for the co-production with its sparklingly comedy and wit it’ll appeal to all musical fans.
Big names from stage and screen, welcoming audiences back to Buxton, include TV legend Sir Michael Parkinson (3 October) who’ll be sharing the highlights of his epic career.
Our Yorkshire Farm star, Amanda Owen, will be telling heart-warming stories from the fields in Adventures of a Shepherdess (12 October).
Smash hit musical Dirty Dancing (31 August – 4 September) will bring the magic of the summer of 1963 to the stage.
Comedians including John Bishop (18 & 19 January 2022), Jason Manford (23 March & 13 May 2022), Joel Dommett (17 November 2021) and Dave Spikey (27 October 2021) will be helping raise a laugh after somewhat laugh-less year.
