Gardeners from across the county are getting ready for the north’s biggest horticultural event – The RHS Flower Show Tatton Park– which runs from Wednesday 21st to Sunday 25th July, 2021.
Running across five days the event is expected to welcome tens of thousands of guests, with the RHS National Flower Bed Competition, Show Gardens and Floral Marquee across a 28-acre site.
There’s also a big community focus, with Cheshire charities, schools, and volunteer groups playing a huge part in the show, which was first held in 1999.
During show week visitors consume, on average, 14,397 cups of tea, 36,483 cups of coffee, 13,866 glasses of Pimms and 3,508 portions of fish and chips.
Over the years the RHS has introduced different garden categories and features such as the RHS National Young Designer Competition, a themed category that changes annually which has included Orchestra Gardens and Galaxy Gardens and a Ladies’ Day.
