I’ve been ‘penetrated’ by a winged horse!

Yet another scam.

This time the emailer tells me I’ve been ‘penetrated’ – apparently by a winged horse – ooh painful!

Then again I’m also told I’m a ‘collateral’ victim – so maybe it wasn’t my phone that was abused.

‘Blackhat’ – appears to be the name of the would-be hacker – and he “does this for a living.”

Blackhat tells me he’s been able to “extract extract messages, photos and emails, record calls and secretly activate cameras or microphones, and read the contents of encrypted messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram and Signal.”

Hell-fire, if Blackhat can decrypt all those inscriptions he must be one hell-of-a-hacker.

Usual rules apply – if you or anyone you know who’s vulnerable to this garbage – and sadly there are some – junk the message.

Blackhat writes:

Your phone was penetrated with a “zero-click” attack, meaning you didn’t even need to click on a malicious link for your phone to be infected.

Pegasus is a malware that infects iPhones and Android devices and enables operator of the tool to extract messages, photos and emails,

record calls and secretly activate cameras or microphones, and read the contents of encrypted messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram and Signal.

Basically, it can spy on every aspect of your life. That’s precisely what it did.
