A man wanted in connection with ‘serious offences’ could be in Macclesfield.
Police are hunting Marcus Golding after he failed to attend court in Yorkshire.
North Yorkshire Police have now issued a national alert to find him, and say he is known to have links with Macclesfield in addition to other areas around the UK.
Anyone who spots Golding, or knows of his whereabouts, is asked to contact the force.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “Can you help us locate this wanted man?
“27-year-old Marcus Golding is wanted for failing to attend court in relation to a number of serious offences.
“He has links to, and connections, in a number of locations across the UK – including Scarborough, Birmingham, Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Luton, Milton Keynes, Lincoln, Peterborough, Grantham, Northampton, Macclesfield, Stoke-on-Trent, Stone and Derbyshire.
“If you have any information which could help locate Golding please call.”
Anyone who can help with the search is urged to call the 101 police number and ask to speak to North Yorkshire Police.
