Tributes have been paid to the Macclesfield FC gym manager, Anna Ledgar, who died following a car accident on Monday morning (October 18)
Anna, manager of the Stealth Gymnasium, at Macclesfield FC’s Moss Rose stadium, was described as an ‘incredibly talented’ member of the team with an ‘infectious personality’.
The football club posted a tribute to her on the Facebook page: “It is with the heaviest of hearts and a sense of unparalleled surrealism that Macclesfield FC can confirm the tragic passing of Stealth Gymnasium Manager and much-loved friend, Anna Ledgar.
“Anna was a well-respected and incredibly talented member of our team, whose infectious personality never failed to brighten even the darkest of days.
“What helped to make Anna so unique was her unrelenting passion to help others.
“Anna was born to inspire and somehow managed to achieve this effortlessly and in a manner that endeared her to each and every one of us.
“There was no question that Anna was the perfect choice to take on the role of Stealth Gymnasium Manager, as both her professionalism and enthusiasm instantly shone through.
“Indeed, Anna made no secret of the fact that this was her dream job and it was clearly visible for all to see.
“Anna was travelling to the workplace she loved when she became a victim of a serious car accident on Monday morning and this would ultimately take her from us in the most horrific of circumstances.
“Anna had a whole lifetime ahead of her and despite the fact that the mental scars elicited from her passing will undoubtedly never heal, her vibrant legacy will forever remain in the hearts and minds of all who were privileged enough to know her.
“We would like to offer our thoughts, prayers and unwavering support to Anna’s family and friends at this devastating time.
“We will never forget you Anna x”
