Ex-Purple Gang Joe Might Make a Picture

Ex-Purple Gang (notorious for being banned by the BBC), ex-Poynton councillor and artist, once of this parish, will be displaying some of his artworks in Buxton next month.

Changing Nature – This Might Make a Picture – a journey into abstraction with drawings and paintings by Chris J. Beard – will be running at Buxton Museum and Art Gallery from Saturday 11th December until Saturday 26th February 2022.

One artist`s long journey of progression, via art school and the school of life. The process involved in making art from visual imagery, beginnings and back up work. CJB does not consider himself an abstract painter per se, but one who has arrived at the point of personal interpretation.
