Cheshire Police are appealing for witnesses and CCTV footage following a burglary at Adam Partridge auction house in Macclesfield.
In the early morning of Tuesday 16 November 2021, three people, wearing balaclavas, entered the Adam Partridge Auction House on Withyfold Drive, Macclesfield and stole more than 400 pieces of jewellery including gold coins, rings, necklaces, watches and a vast amount of other jewellery related items, valued in the hundreds of thousands.
Detective Constable Tom Towe, of Macclesfield CID, said:
“I am asking for anybody with information about the those responsible or the whereabouts of the jewellery to contact the police.
“We have photographs which have been disseminated to auction houses and dealers around the country in order to identify the stolen items, but would also ask local jewellers and pawnshop owners to look out for items matching the above descriptions.
“We have carried out a number of enquiries and we are now asking for the public’s help.
“We are asking for anyone who may have seen the incident, or anyone who has information, to contact Cheshire Police.”
