Netflix scam

Yet another scam aimed at separating you from your hard-earned savings.

This one purports to be from Netflix – although the massive typo error ‘Netlix’ in the title is a bit of a give-away.

The email advises that your Netflix payment has failed – and it being Christmas with the usual repeats on Aunty Beeb you will be desperate to continue to watch your movies.

Click on the ‘Update Billing’ and you’ll be taken to a website requesting your bank details.

As usual – consign the email to your Junk Folder – but remember to advise any vulnerable friends or relatives not to fall for the scam.
