Pie & Pint is a brand new fundraising event for East Cheshire Hospice and we are very much looking forward to walking off those Christmas dinners, festive drinks and scrumptious mince pies and chocolates (and then filling back up again!)
The price of tickets only covers the costs of putting on the event. Therefore, we encourage you to collect sponsorship for your 10km walk once you have bought your Pie & Pint tickets. All sponsorship money raised will go directly to East Cheshire Hospice and providing vital care to those in our community with life-limiting illnesses.
About the 10km walk…
You will start off at Macclesfield Rugby Club and make your way to the local village of Over Alderley before turning up through Mottrom St Andrew where we will have a half way point at the Bull’s Head. Here you will be able to stop off for a short drink and to use the toilet facilities if you need. Your next port of call will be through Prestbury and finally along the last stretch into Dale Brow making your way back to Macclesfield Rugby Club.
When you have completed the 10km walk …
Make sure that you have your ticket handy in order for you to collect your Pie & Pint! The pies are made by ‘The BBQ’ at Macclesfield Rugby Club and there will be a choice of three flavours:
Meat & Potato
Chicken Balti
Cheese & Onion
Please make sure you let us know about any dietary requirements when you complete the booking form.
If you are under 18, your ticket will provide you with a non-alcoholic drink.
After the event…
Macclesfield Rugby Club have very kindly offered to allow Pie and Pint participants to watch the afternoon rugby match at the club. Feel free to stick around and enjoy your pie and pint and catch the action!
