East Cheshire Hospice Memory Miles

Many people took part in a virtual version of Memory Miles back in 2020, racking up miles on their own.

Participants managed to accumulate an amazing 3000+ miles and over £6000 for the Hospice!

Now that we’re able to get together in person again, we want to bring back our popular memory walk event, previously known as Light Up The Night/Starlight Walk, and come together to remember lost loved ones by walking a special route in the beautiful grounds of Adlington Hall.

Gates will open at 4pm and upon arrival you will receive your Memory Miles T-shirt, wristband and keyring at the registration point.

There will be a stage with live music as well as food and drinks stalls, so you can get together with friends and family and prepare for the walk!

The walk will begin at 5pm and will feature atmospheric lighting along the route, as well as fire pits and points of interest for participants to engage with and remember their loved ones.

There will be more opportunities for food, drinks and for soaking up the atmosphere after the walk, or if you like you can complete the route multiple times! The event will begin to draw to a close at around 8pm, so if you can’t make it until a little later than 5, don’t worry!
