Police appeal for witnesses to fatal collision

Police are appealing for information following a fatal collision in Pexhill Road , Macclesfield.

Police officers were called to Pexhill Road at around 4.30 pm on Tuesday,17 May following reports of a collision involving a white Suzuki motorbike and a black Land Rover Freelander.

Sadly, the motorcyclist, a 60-year-old local man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

His next of kin have been informed.

Officers are appealing to anyone who may have dashcam footage or witnessed the collision to get in touch.
