Learn how to navigate with rangers from the Peak district National Park. 

A basic course learning about basic map symbols; national grid system; 6 figure grid refs; scales; map types; distances; contours and shapes of terrain; orientating map using features; relating map to ground. 

Please note that part of this course will be indoors but the majority of the time will be a practical session about 3 miles over rough tracks and open moorland.
