The Royal Cheshire County Show returns 21st – 22nd June 2022 to the beautiful surrounds of the County Showground, Tabley, near Knutsford.
This year will mark the show’s 184th anniversary – and six years since the Show received its ‘royal’ status in 2016.
In tribute to Her Majesty The Queen The Royal Cheshire County Show will celebrate 70 years of agriculture in Cheshire as well as competitions and attractions for all the family.
Amongst the many attractions the Show will be joined this year by celebrity chefs Simon Rimmer and Jean Christophe-Novelli, over 3000 animals and birds, many competitions, The Shetland Pony Grand National, Paul Hannam Quad Bike Stunt Show, Cheshire Farmers Market and The Pony Club Musical Ride.
The Royal Cheshire County Show will host a huge variety of competition classes, including pigs, dairy goats and cattle, alongside a packed schedule of show jumping, light & heavy horses, pygmy goats, rabbits, cavies and the always popular dog shows.
You’ll have plenty to see and do over the two-day event, which celebrates the great British countryside and brings together all aspects of rural life and what it’s like to farm in the beautiful county of Cheshire – with Young Farmers, Vintage Machinery, Women’s Institute, Village Green and The Countryside Live Arena attending the show this year.
As well as the competitions, exhibitions, demonstrations and performances, visitors will also be able to sample some of the best cuisines the county has to offer at the Roberts Bakery Food Hall.
A must-see experience at the show is the Bidlea Dairy Agri – Centre, where you can learn all about how Cheshire Farmers produce food, from cheese to milk and ice-cream, there will be plenty to get hands on with.
