The first day of the RHS Tatton Show brought in thousands of visitors – anxious to explore the world of horticulture in 2022.
By 10.00 am the queue of several hundred RHS members, lining up at the gates, eager to attend Member’s Day, within minutes had flooded onto the show ground.
The Macclesfield & East Cheshire branch of the British Cactus & Succulent Society paid tribute to their late chairman, Peter Curial-Jones, who died last year from Covid-19. Peter led the society to RHS Gold medals in 2018 and 2019 – and this year earned their third RHS Gold in succession.
A number of Peter’s cacti and succulents are included in the Gold medal-winning 2022 display.
Take a look at the following images, see if you can identify a few of the thousands of flowers, plants, trees and vegetables on show at the RHS Tatton Show 2022.
