Macc Lit & Phil
The last meeting of Macclesfield Lit & Phil’s current season is next Tuesday evening 23rd May starting at 7.30 pm in Macclesfield Library.
Freelance archaeologist Nigel Baker has carried out three seasons of excavations at Shrewsbury Castle on behalf of the Castle Studies Trust. He will talk to us about his results which have produced a rather different picture of the town fortress than usually thought.
