Bioanalysis specialist, Alderley Analytical, has relocated to a new site in Macclesfield.

The company has moved from its current site at Alderley Park to a new facility on Orbit Developments’ growing life science community, Tytherington Business Village in Macclesfield.

The new 16,039 sq ft Alderley Court facility hosts state-of-the-art analytical laboratories which have been specifically designed to a bespoke specification, to help Alderley Analytical maximise their workflow efficiency.

With more than double the footprint of their previous location at Alderley Park, it will facilitate the continued expansion of the company which is going through an exciting period of growth.

Alderley Analytical was founded in 2014, winning contracts within the first six months. Since then, the company has continued to grow, delivering a significant number of high profile bioanalytical projects

The company now joins Peak Proteins, Illingworth and Lucid Group making Tytherington Business Village a fast growing hub for life science creativity, with a wide selection of lab-capable space in addition to office, retail and industrial space.

Paul Holme, Alderley Analytical chief executive and co-founder, said: “Our new building in Tytherington provides us with the expansion space we needed as part of our business growth and the opportunity to completely design our lab space and, indeed, all other workspace areas exactly to our requirements.

“We consulted our staff on the location prior to moving and there was an overwhelmingly positive response to the relocation which made the decision all the easier.”
