The Bollin Grange housing development’s 62 affordable homes have been sold to housing association Onward Homes.
Onward will own and manage the properties at Countryside Partners, Bollin Grange development, off Gaw End Lane, Lyme Green, Macclesfield.
Countryside Partnerships has agreed to sell the affordable properties to the housing association, with the handover expected next March.
The properties will feature a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments, as well as two- to four-bedroom houses.
There will be 26 homes made available for affordable rent, while the remaining 36 properties will be available for shared ownership.
Stephen Heverin, growth and regeneration director at Onward, said: “These modern homes will meet an identified need for affordable housing in the Macclesfield area, as well as helping local people to put down roots through our shared ownership tenure.
“The affordable properties are part of a wider scheme that will see Vistry Group, which owns Countryside, deliver 306 homes on the 57-acre site.
