Ashely Whittaker has been banned from entering several stores in Macclesfield after Cheshire police secured a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO).
Whittaker, of Mill Lane, Macclesfield, was served with the two-year order at Crewe Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 17 October, following numerous shoplifting incidents across the town.
As a result, the 39-year-old has been banned from entering the B&M Bargains and Tesco stores on Exchange Street, Macclesfield, along with the Cooperative store on West Park Drive and Morrisons in Hurdsfield Green.
If he fails to comply with the CBO, Whittaker will be committing a criminal offence which may result in recall to prison or fine.
