Following the collapse of Flat Cap Hotels group, The Bridge in Prestbury has been put on the market for offers in excess of £4.5m.
Flat Cap Hotels was founded in 2015 by Acorn Award winners and third-generation hoteliers Oliver and Dominic Heywood.
Its three hotels were known for being food-led destinations located in heritage sites, with the Bridge in Prestbury receiving the 2021 Hotel Catey award for Hotel Restaurant Team of the Year.
However, boutique brand fell into administration after struggling with the challenging economic conditions.
Its third hotel, the Courthouse in Knutsford, has been closed by administrators.
The Bridge is a 27-bedroom hotel and restaurant located on the banks of the River Bollin in the Cheshire village of Prestbury. Its riverside gardens feature an outdoor bar, which has made it a popular wedding location.
The Vicarage in Cranage is a 23-bedroom property, which sits on the banks of the River Dane, and features a restaurant, bar and surround sound sports bar.
