Cheshire East Highways road closures

CE Highways are upgrading roads in the Westminster Road area in early June.

Highways state that the highway repairs, commencing on 03 June 2024, will take approximately 12 days to complete.

To maintain the safety of the public and workforce, they say it will be necessary for a road closure to be in place during the works.

The road closure will be in place along Westminster Road between the hours of 09:30 and 14:30, excluding weekends. The closure will be phased as per the below, to minimise disruption;

• Phase 1: Merriden Road to Abbey Road (2 days)

• Phase 2: Abbey Road to Westbrook Drive (2 days)

• Phase 3: Westbrook Drive to Westbrook Drive (4 days)

• Phase 4: Westbrook Drive to Coare Street (4 days)”
