Capesthorne Hall and Gardens is hosting a Plant Hunters’ Fair on Sunday, May 12.
The event will feature thousands of plant species from specialist nurseries throughout the region and beyond.
Capesthorne Hall is set in over 100 acres of parkland and for this special event, there’s half price entry to the gardens and fair of just £4 (children five to 16 years old £1.50).
Martin Blow, of Plant Hunters’ Fairs, said “We are really excited to return to this wonderful garden. It’s a great time to get out in the garden and get planning and planting for the year ahead and where better to get inspiration.
“The plant fair is the place to come to find all that is best in garden plants with a wonderful line-up of specialist nurseries coming from near and far with a brilliant range and diversity of plants for every garden. If you need some advice to help you choose then there are nursery folk on hand to help.”
Capesthorne Hall is a distinctive Jacobean style house with a Georgian chapel, in the village of Siddington. If you would also like to visit the hall, it is open from 12.30pm to 3.30pm (last entry 3pm) for an additional fee of £4 for adults, £1 for children (five to 16 years).
The plant fair runs from 10am to 4pm. Dogs on leads are very welcome and refreshments are available. Find out which nurseries will be attending by visiting www.planthuntersfairs.co.uk
