Enterprising future for Macclesfield

Local MP, David Rutley, recently met up with Arighi Bianchi’s Nick Bianchi, to discuss how businesses in and around Macclesfield could benefit from working with Enterprise Cheshire and Warrington. 

Enterprise Cheshire & Warrington (EC&W), has been created as part of the transition away from the Cheshire & Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership.

David and Nick were joined by the Chief Executive of the new organisation, Philip Cox, who detailed how EC&W will be providing support for local businesses.

Mr Cox explained that part of the future plans involved the creation of an Advisory Board, made up of 20 people from a variety of sectors.

The key aims of the new board – to make our locality a better place to live, work and visit – will be accomplished through business engagement, outlining of a clear economic strategy plus marketing and support for businesses.
