The garden wraps around an old farmhouse festooned with climbers. The part cobbled yard is lined with pots of summer bedding and tender perennials.

There is a raised alpine bed, a large ornamental pond and a bog garden.

The overflowing mixed borders have specimen trees, shrubs, perennials and magnificent Stipa gigantea grasses.
