Macclesfield College £1m refurb

Work has started on refurbishment at Macclesfield College’s Mulberry Building

T-Level teaching facilities for childcare and creative media will be provided by Icon Projects who are carrying out work on the 6,500 sq ft of space.

The contractor started on site this week and work is expected to be completed in time for the start of the academic term in September.

A spokesperson for Macclesfield College said: “We are incredibly excited about the investment into our T-Levels for childcare and creative media.

“This initiative will create dynamic learning environments that closely reflect real-world workplaces, providing our students with engaging and inspiring experiences. We believe this will significantly enhance their skills and readiness for future careers.”
