Christmas cheer from East Cheshire NHS Charity

With the festive season rapidly approaching, East Cheshire NHS Charity is calling on everyone to help spread some holiday cheer, by participating in its Christmas fundraising initiatives. 

The Christmas Appeal launches on Monday 4^th November running until Monday 9^th December – aiming to raise funds to support the East Cheshire NHS Trust’s vital work. 

Within the appeal are several ways for staff, the community and businesses to get involved:

Festive raffle – Buy raffle tickets today and be in with a chance of winning fantastic prizes – including a £250 shopping voucher and festive hampers. Your contribution will help improve patient care as well as supporting our dedicated healthcare workers.

Wear something festive – maybe the traditional Christmas knit, socks or earrings – or possibly go full elf! Whatever you decide, don your festive gear, donate £1, and help us support your local hospital. So, dig out your best festive clothing or accessories on either Thursday 12th December, or a date that suits you better and donate £1 to your local NHS charity here.

Knitted Appeal – Calling on all knitters (or crocheters) – both seasoned and new – and join our special knitting appeal for chocolate orange cosies! These delightful little covers not only add a festive touch to a classic treat but also bring warmth and joy to those who receive them. There are no restrictions on the design for the knitted pattern, just ensure that it fits a chocolate orange!

Send all knitted designs to Fundraising Department, New Alderley House, Victoria Road, Macclesfield, Cheshire, SK10 3BL. 

Weekly Lottery – Participate in our weekly lottery – where every purchase brings you a chance to win fantastic prizes – while supporting a cause that truly matters. 

By joining you’ll be in with a chance to win up to £25,000 each week while directly contributing to your local NHS charity.
