Currys email scam

Another scam – this one purporting to be from Currys.

You’ll find your name on the ‘winner’s’ list – which you will in time.

Click on the hotlink and you’re taken to a spinning wheel – which you’re tempted to click.

Then you’ll be advised you’ve ‘won’ an iphone 15 – or similar tech.

And, guess what – it’s only going to cost you 1.99£

But the unscrupulous numpties who set up the scam don’t appear to know that in the UK it should read £1.99.

Don’t forget to advise any susceptible or vulnerable friends or relatives that this is a scam.
