Northern Rail has issued a ‘do not travel’ warning for this Sunday, November 10th.
The travel warning details “train crew availability” as an issue, along with “major engineering works” as reasons for the warning.
The train company is advising their customers don’t travel specifically on four routes:
Manchester Piccadilly – Stoke-on-Trent (and Macclesfield)
Manchester Piccadilly – Chester (via Altrincham)
Stalybridge – Wigan North Western
Liverpool – Preston
There will also reportedly be no trains running on the Manchester Victoria – Chester line.
Ticket acceptance is in place for TransPennine Express and Transport for Wales trains which serve that route.
