UPP Battery E-Bike Battery Packs presenting a serious risk of fire

The Office for Product Safety and Standards has issued Withdrawal Notices to distributors of some UPP Battery E-Bike Battery Packs. The products being sold via Amazon, AliBaba, eBay, Made in China and Desertcart are being withdrawn from sale because they present a serious risk of fire.

Owners are advised to stop using the battery immediately and dispose of it safely via their local household waste disposal site. Consumers should check first with their local centre if they accept this type of battery.
